why is life so boring!

no people don't tend to kick a football around all to often when there the age of 16+

Really? Some uni friends who are 21-22 went for a kick-about the other day, didn't even cross my mind that it's not the sort of thing someone that 'old' would do! Go out and find something to do!

Your friends will get bored of mopeds, unless they're absolute morons that find satisfaction in driving round in circles spending money on fuel every 10 minutes and making the most horrible sound known to man.

Also, ring your friends up, don't expect them to ring you. Go out and get drunk somewhere, if you aren't willing to do something productive. Your friends won't be driving round and drinking, so you can still be with them. And if they are, find some new friends.

At 15 I was playing for 3 different football teams, playing in a band with my Dad every saturday & sunday and I had 2 women on the go on my paper round.

Doesn't anyone kick a football round a park anymore?!

Yeah, that's all we did as kids, had huge areas we could roam, play footy, cricket, climb trees etc, all innocent stuff but always fun.

Problem now though is most if not all of those areas have been built on, so it's definitely not as easy for kids to amuse themselves around here nowadays, it's probably the same story in a lot of areas.

owning a scooter at 14 is immense. get one! total freedom to do whatever you want, around the towns anyway.

oh and pick up a mrs if you havent already got one, they take up a whole lot of time.

Owning a scooter at 14 is great. If you live somewhere were the legal age to ride one is 14. Which in the UK it isn't.

And for everyone else, a moped is a moped. A scooter is a scooter.

Throw a kit on it, etcetera.

I can imagine you will be glad that you don't live in the U.k when you are covered in blood and bits across the road.
Would not want a 16 year old let alone a 14 year old to be on the roads, they cannot even have the common sense to play on PC let alone follow the highway code.

What are you on about?

Most 14 year olds have enough common sense to ride a scooter. The highway code is simple, and riding a scooter is extremely easy.
