why is my bios resetting??

hey guys, updated my bios about 5 days ago and pc hasnt been off since.

switched my machine off this morning.. just back from uni boot it up and the bios has reset to the original version.

why would this be happening?

do batterys just fail randomly?

the only thing i have done recently is move all my pc from an old case to a new case.. dunno how this would affect battery though

its a gigabyte k8ns-pro.

Have upgraded bios again but its well annoying if i have to do that each time!

try flashing it again, if that fails flash the original bios back on and if it's still doing it change the battery.

If it's just happening since changing cases it could possibly be shorting, might be worth taking it out of the case and see what happens.

Edit:- If it's the actual BIOS version that's changing it sounds like a duff BIOS chip to be honest, have you tried flashing it with a different program?
