Hi all

My current CPU is an AMD Athlon XP 3200+ @ Stock (never been overclocked)
And my motherboard is an Abit KV-7.

The monitoring software that came with my motherboard is called ABIT EQ.

Basically i was just observing all the extra readings and noticed the VCore, CPU Voltage, was changing from 1.6v up to 1.75?

I doubt it makes much difference but i just wanted to know if this was normal?

Thanks

Yeah, it is normal for voltages to fluctuate a little.

If you are worried about it, you can get a cheap multimeter to find out how much exatly.

1.6 -> 1.75 is pretty drastic though, but I doubt it is actually rising that much, most likely an incorrect reading.

Hi,

no that's not normal? It normally fluctuate a little but not that much! ;)

Possible something to do with poor voltage regulators on the mobo, or maybe something to do with your PSU?
