Hey all,

Now I love Safari, but recently have been forced to switch to Firefox, for the simple fact it is such a damn resource hog it's ridiculous.

It run's so slowly, the hard drive is continuously going beserk when it runs...which doesn't make any sense because I've only got a few bookmarks and no RSS feeds...

Does anyone else get this? it's a right pain...

Cheers.

Flash animations in Safari seem to give the CPU a lot of work. Its gotten to the point where I'll hear the fans ramp up and I know its gonna be a Safari window I've left open.

edit - on a C2D MacBook

yea i dont seem to understand this? watching flash or video on safari actually gives me a higher load then watching hd movie clip's?

I think it's got something to do with Safari not being able to handle Flash items properly - I always get that problem when watching some vids on YouTube or visiting some Flash heavy sites; apart form that, it is all good.
