Why is security center being stupid?

Hi experts,

For the last 2 days security center pops up saying Kaspersky AV is off. I've checked and Kaspersky is on and working fine. It also says my antispyware is spybot and is on. I uninstalled spybot months ago and use Superantispyware now. Anyone else had this issue?

Turn off security centre alerts? Never needed them myself.

I've been getting the same "Kaspersky is off" error on XP home, its a right pain in the proverbial!
