Why is it so much cheaper than the others ? is it noticeably worse in terms of performance ?

Will it work via SLI with my current chill 780ti ?

No it's not worse than other 780 Ti's, they obviously just want to shift their stock. VS the 970 the 780 Ti isn't as attractive as it once was. Some great prices on the 780 Ti's though, with games as well. Still a good deal.

Ok thanks

I've not done SLI before... other than a beefy psu and 2 780tis what else do i need to buy ?

How do i connect the two cards together ? do i need to buy an SLI bridge or something ?

Oh and whats more attractive about the 970 out of interest ?

Sorry for all the questions

Yes you will need a SLI bridge. Also make sure your motherboard supports SLI.

I would say the lower price and extra 1gb of vram makes the 970 more attractive.

I'm searching overclockers for 'sli bridge' but have no idea what one to get.

my motherboard is a MSI z97 gaming 5 which i assume supports SLI

Any motherboard that supports SLI has an SLI bridge. nVidia have to approve SLI support and to do so the motherboard has to provide a bridge.

This is why AMD (who don't require their approval for crossfire support) supply bridges with the cards, except for the new XDMA cards of course.
