Why is there no 3rd party PS3 pad ?

A true ps3 wireless pad with sixaxis with the 360 shape? Is it too complicated to do nowadays with sixaxis and rumble?

i did find some where on the net a guide to tell you how to do it

also 3rd partys can be had with six axis pretty cheaply, but i have never seen one with the 360 shape

Maybe as MS has the Patent for the 360 controller shape and Sixaxis is a Sony patent?

I think the motion controls are patented? Or at least Sony won't allow third parties to use the technology.
