Why is this image funny?

What makes me giggle is trying to work out which people have replied with "hahaha thats hilarious" without realising that there isn't anything funny about it, in an effort to make themselves look clever and "down with the kids". Of course, we'll never know for sure which of them did, but it's still amusing none the less.

So. What's the funny? Anyone wan't to share their theories?
IIII is pretty standard for clocks in place of IV, so that's not it.
There's no boat on the hill, those are just flagstaffs. Cant see the flag well enough to tell if that's the funny, it's obviously not the Union flag...
Meh. I don't get it. And if there is no funny and people are just laughing at people who don't "get it"... that's fine then :)
 
I was looking at this last night when it was posted and didn't get it at all but this morning after some sleep it all became so clear. When you know what it is you can't miss it.
