Seems normal to me. You can pick up an Acer or Morai for £140. They are all the same basic TN panel without overdrive. Don't forget TN panels are as cheap as they come but that's all you can get in 22" size.
Look at 20" panels, there are many non-TN panels selling for in excess of £300.00
Because our **** crap government decided that any monitor with a dvi input is capable of been used as a tv and is subject to 14% tax.
Therefore on a £200 monitor, the non dvi monitor will be £28 cheaper even if everything else is the same quality.
But the good news is anologue has come on leaps and bounds and with most monitors you can't tell the difference. Also a lot of reviews have stated that with monitors with just an anoluge input, they more more of an effort with the electronics for converting it.
