If you need more specs ask.

So here is my problem. It worked fine all these months. Today I took it apart to put on my new compression fittings for my watercool loop and to spray my case. Took all the precautions I can and to my knowledge everything was done perfect.

I put everything back together, I used a jumper on the 24pin to help fill my loop first and when my loop and res was full I turned it all off and plugged it all back in and good to go. When I jumped it the pump and res came on with the fans. When I plugged it all back in the Motherboards start and reset lights came on and so did the Asus logo thing below the cpu but! that logo came on went off came back on went back off. It usually stays on.

I would press the power on button on my desktop. nothing, I try to use the mobo start, nothing. I tried the jump on the 24 pin again and the res/pump came on but not the fans this time.

I only know how to put pcs together, mostly, I'm still learning. But here are some things I'm speculating that could have ruined my system. All the power cables were hooked up to their relevant places when I jumped the 24 pin to fill my reservoir and loop. Could that have messed up my cpu or something?

Having a mild panic attack here so some suggestions to try in the morning would be appreciated please and thank you!

I would again unplug all the power leads and put the jumper back in on the 24pin and see if it turn on if it does then the power supply is fine other then that make sure all the leads are plugged in correctly and clear the bio's on the motherboard

I'm assuming loop is on cpu,
another quickish way
remove gpu, unplug from mains, connect monitor to onboard vid, click the bios reset button
plug back in (still no gpu) switch on, any life ?

I'll try all of this once I get back home. I may sound crazy, if this is even real, can't you reset the bios through a thing on the mother board, like a small battery or something?

Pull all the plugs out and check that the pins are not loose in the plugs. I've had a similar issue when 1 pin from the 8pin EPS cable was loose and wasn't making any contact with the motherboard plug.

also check to make sure no fluid has dropped onto the components and causing a short. Easy thing to do when swapping out components and changing watercooling stuff.

when you were filling the loop did you ensure that nothing else had power other than the pump? Are you sure you have plugged all the leads back in?

Thanks for the suggestions I'm going to try them in the morning when I get home. To answer some questions
When I filled the loop I had all the power cables plugged into relevant places I had the jumper on the 24pin and then when I plugged my psu in the pump got going. I don't think the GPU came on. I think the fans might have come on.
I also ensured no liquid got spilled ^_^
