Why isnt it working

Ive just installed the Rome total Realism mod for Rome total war but its not working properly and i a cant start any campaigns. The screen i get when i try to is this:

I cant click on anything but "Disabled" and it doent do anything :mad:

Whats wrong with it and how can i fix it so i can play the mod?

'disabled' is the tutorial mission. the default game requires you to play that before unlocking the campaign, i believe the fix was to...

edit with notpad:
Rome - Total War\preferences\preferences.txt

find and change:
FIRST_TIME_PLAY:TRUE
to:
FIRST_TIME_PLAY:FALSE

that should then unlock the campaign :cool:

Right, ive got the campain Menu unlocked now but it wont go any further then this screan :mad:

If i click the next arrow(the one on the bottemright hand corner it just sends me to the main menu and i cant get back into the Campain menu :mad:

What do i do now? :confused:

that, i'm afraid i don't know..

a wild gess or two: as it's a realism mod perhaps the manage all settlements is an unsupported function (wild gess extreme) or that the advice file is not compatable??

I Just reinstaleld the patch and it works fine now

which patch is that? a patch for RTR or the offical RTW patch? i may well have to reinstall the game again later.. i've not played it for a while and i've not tried RTR 6.0.. i was last using the greek expanded mod.

Im using the RTR patch.

You need to have the RTW patch 1.2 aswell.
Then the rome total Realiusim patch 6.
Then the rome total Realism patch music adon 6.2

You can be so many empires, its great

What ever you do dont go the Suluidic Empire(Sp?)
There is just so much land to cover you're towns all complain about being to far from the capital and they all riot :mad:
