Why low profile tyres make sense for F1

Good article here at F1 Fanatic about tyre sizes.

I think 15" would be a good move. Slightly heavier cars and easier to warm up meaning no need for tyre blankets.

What do you think?

Would be good in my opinion, I'm not bothered about the size as such, but the potential for better racing and more relevance is great.
The photoshop of the Mclaren with the 18" wheels looks so odd!
