Hi all, I have got this setup:

Master socket> Netgear D7000>>30m ethernet cable>>> BT Home Hub 5>> Wi-FI devices(Xbox 1, PS4, iPhone ect...)

Now all my devices connect properly as soon as I switch them on except my macbook pro, sometimes it connects fine, but most time it fails. I am not sure whats going on any ideas please?

I have turned off DHCP on BT home hub 5 and I gave the router IP address that is outside the range of Netgear.

Many thanks

Can you see the wireless network?
Does it get as far as asking for a password?

Try changing the encryption on the wifi.

I can see the network. Sometimes it asks for the password and even tho I enter it correctly, it says incorrect. It's quite random really. Today it's been fine for some reason.

But as I said, it's the only machine that I have problem with. I have got PS4, X1, Sky Box, Harmony Hub, iPhone and my PC connected via ethernet. They all work perfectly.
