WHY no DFI 680 boards?

As title, have been waiting on DFI's attempt at core 2's latest and greatest, as yet, nothing, only ATI board.........why no good modern 680i chipset boards?

They are 2nd tier and recieve their chips later than the likes of ASUS etc, and then plus the lead time on Oskar tweaking the bios as will most likely ship as a lanparty board than a infinity board.

interesting, also is 680i likely to support Intel Core 2 Quad (Yorkfield) 45nm processors ?
