Why No Insominia 61 posts?

As title really, me, the missus, nipper and friend walked past the OCuk stall at the NEC for insomnia 61 today, this place seems more under the wire than DANtdms appearance which wasn't announced until thursday last week.

What is that all about?

By the way, AOC went, fit ladies in skintight outfits for their booth, fit as they were it seemed totally out of place and the AOC monitors on show looked very poor!

Pleased to say the missus notions of what type of people would attend were totally wrong, I've attended game shows since the spectrum era.

There are two types of gamers.

The first plays fallout 4 or so with max settings on 4k on dual titans. Or just spends 99% of the time benchmarking/overclocking

The second plays counterstrike on a lower resolution then their monitor supports and alters the FOV to extremes while messing up the contrast and brightness.

Btw this is the super extreme example to better show the difference dont take it literally.

Anyway, i could explain more, but i think the main point of my post is to ask you to post pictures of said fit girls or gtfo

Sure the staff at OCuk had better chances for photos, I just died in egg wars and perused the "nostalgia" games that mostly started in ps1 era, not a chuky egg in sight

I'd have to agree at this event it was misjudged, also the products/monitors really didn't look the part.
MSI and a bunch of other stalls had bright young things selling and they weren't dressed in spandex so tight they looked like they should be fighting an alien invasion.
