Why should I get a QX9650 ?

I've been ordered to buy a new setup and thought to hell with it lets go for it ! :p

So is the QX9650 worth buying now ??? Or should I wait for the rest of the Yorkfield cpu's to be released ?

It will probably outlive a few mobo and ram upgrades and the unlocked multi would always be good :D

No it doesn't mean that YOU are paying for it. ;) And you'd be astounded at the tax I pay anyway to keep all the bloody students in the lap of luxury ;):D

What i meant was I either buy the CPU as a company asset or just give the money to the taxman, so no need to worry :p

Cheers for info weescott although it is the end of the LGA775 socket CPU's so I might just hang on but its very sorely tempting to buy it now as its not a bad investment for selling on. :eek:
