This will likely come across as trolling as i some Mac users are sensitive souls, but why do apple put an i in front of most of their products?
Irritating (yet admitedly clever) marketing strategy or does it actually mean somthing?

It first stood for 'internet' when the first iMac was released, due to it being so easy to set up and conecnt to the internet and they then adopted it for their other products as it proved to be so popular.

I think, anyway.

The "i" was originally used to stand for internet on the first iMac. Obviously it is now used for marketing as it is synonymous with Apple.
