Why was my thread deleted?

I've just posted a thread with a couple of easy to access links to the Vista SP1 download packages, intended to save people having to rifle through the other thread. However, within seconds of posting this has been deleted without explanation. I don't believe I've broken any forum rules. Maybe someone could explain?

If you feel there was a problem and your thread shouldn't have been deleted then contact a don, admin or one of the others.

I don't feel there is a problem, I was just hoping to know what forum rule I had broken and was guessing the admin in question might have still been hanging around. But yes, you're right, I will contact an admin directly. Shame really, seeing as I was only trying to help.

No rule broken - just we like to keep the forums tidy Only need one thread about the Vista SP1. I have renamed the thread now to make it clear that it has been released.
