Why were the reviews for this product removed?

the product in question - Corsair Flash Voyager MINI USB 3.0 64GB (CMFMINI3-64GB)

I was browsing the site a few weeks ago and noticed that this flash drive had a single 1-star review, that said that the drive frequently failed to be recognised by the computer and eventually failed completely. I actually had the same thing happen to me with the exact same product, so I added my own 1-star review citing similar failings.

Now I see that not only has my review not been accepted, but the first review has also been removed. Was it because they were negative about the product? Because right now that flash drive looks like it might be a good buy but there's at least two very bad experiences with it. Are overclockers only allowing positive reviews of products?

When I was working at OcUK, the rule was to authorise all reviews which were constructivly written, whether negative or positive.

If a review has been removed then I would think that maybe this policy has been amended.

P.S. the reason reviews are vetted before being allowed on the site is due to a number of spam bots, and swearing filled reviews.

I just checked my reviews, my old phenom tri core is no longer available so that review is long gone (positive of course :)
I recently reviewed the cheap Zalman Z1 case, that review has yet to be published.

I doubt very much OC would remove negative reviews, I have read a few recently whilst looking at new parts.
