I find that if i install both of my sticks of RAM i get 'NO VIDEO OUPUT' whereas if i only install the one it works. Does anyone know what causes this to happen, because ideally i'd like to use all of my RAM.

My specs are:

Asus P5K Deluxe/WiFi-AP
Intel Q6600
4Gb G.Skill DDR2 PC2-8000 PQ (1000MHz)
Zotac NVIDIA GeForce 8800 GT AMP EDITION 512MB
Samsung F1 750GB
Coolermast realpower 520w
Thermalright Ultra-120 EXTREME

Please help. Thank you very much

I trust you've tried with different individual sticks of RAM? Just to make sure the RAM isn't faulty.

That G.skill requires 2.0-2.1v. Default is 1.8v so you should add +0.2-0.3v if you haven't already.

yeah both work individually, i have only just put the computer together, i haven't touched any of the voltage yet. i will do that and see what happens

Have you tried swapping the sticks around as well? My mobo is crazy, and won't POST if I have one of the sticks in slot 1, but in slot 3 it works perfectly...

I normally raise the memory volt by just 0.1 (to 1.9V) and find that is sufficient to get most memory running at its rated speed/timings.

2.0v+ is handy if your overclocking, or the ram just doesnt like the motherboard. Personal preference is to change voltages in the smallest possible increment. If 1.9v memory is 100% stable, then why waste power by pushing voltages higher. Keeps the system running a little cooler to :)
