Why won't Speedfan permanently change my fan speeds?

I've installed speedfan.

In the Advanced tab I set PWM1 to software and PWM2 to software.

I successfully reduced my fan speeds to 50%, Great!

But when I reboot my computer the settings are lost and the fans are back at 100%.

So how do I make it permanent

Mb is 965pds3

the only way to do that is either through the bios if possible or by setting speed fan up as a service to autorun on windows startup.
