Why Won't UT 2003 Work on my PC

HI

I have Unreal Tournement 2003, and it worked fine on my previous pc - a Hewlett packard Intel 2.66 with ATI Radeon 9000. It also works on my newly purchased laptop - Toshiba (Duo core) Intel 1.66mhz 2mb cache) with ATI X1400 Chip.

However, my main system is an Athlon FX-55 processor, with ATI X1900-Xt-X - and it will get up to the start up screen , then crash (lock up forcing a reboot) I had a Radeon X850XT before it and same thing - I have installed lots of drivers as well. Still crashes.

Could the problem be with my Processor? - or even operating system WindowsXP PRO? (other two systems were SP home w/SP2)

All the usual top games run wonderfully on this system (COD2, Rainbow six, Far cry, BF2, Ghost recon etc..

Not sure really Errors include :Errors :

Win32K.sys

Page_Fault_in_Nonpaged_Area

it is the only game that crashes like this. Got 600 watt PSU also + 2 Gig ram.

Was told on another form that (i quote):There is an issue with AMD cpus, you edit an option in your config files to fix it. Try including "no execute" in your search string. That is why it works on your intel rigs.

that error would point to a dodgy driver, well thats what google told me :p

Yea, looked up on it a bit last night. It's the only game that does it though, and also told there's possibly an issue with UE 2.5 (UT Engine??). I have a 24 bit sound card (Emu-0404) along with my onboard Realtek "enabled" if that means anything. I can disable the realtek in BIOS, but some games won't work on my EME 24 bit S/C. (Flatout, Grand prix 4)

Cheers
