Was woken up this morning by my mum asking me to take pictures of her car before she went out:

Someone smashed the rear window, lifted the parcel shelf and then proceeded to steal....NOTHING?! there was a mercedes teddy still in the main bit of the car, which they didnt take, but nothing else in the car at all.

Don't understand the mentality in that, there were other cars worth far more parked near it that could just have likely had something in, but they targeted this :S

Many years ago my dads car was stolen, they didn't take the radio or anything yet they took a straw hat, and some other meaningless stuff and it was left abandoned near to where him and my mum used to live :/.

I actually woke up (I would be like 6 or something) and told him I heard a noise outside as it was obviously being stolen, but he didn't listen

. What part of Manchester was it? A lot of this sort of stuff goes on round near me and I just don't see the point at all. I wish I could understand their mentality.

apparently the safe thing these days is to leave the load cover open and likewise the glovebox to show it's not worth it.

Yeah but some will just look and say "oh look they left all the covers open to show us theres nothing in there worth nicking", and so they'll smash the window or something anyway because you did that.

no they wont. they will spend the rest of their lives supported by our fabled dole system, sponging the rest of us to death, taking breaks from sponging to damage or steal our stuff.

imo, in a country with an ounce of freedom, people caught for doing petty stuff like this would be birched, but no, we are a civilised country and it simply wont happen.

imo, again, beating people like that within an inch of their lives is the only way they will learn. if it doesnt, well it may irradicate the problem.

a nice example is the woman who killed herself, he 3 kids and one of the kids friends in a car crash in tilbury, essex, a couple days ago. had been a degenerate all her life, she was driving a stolen car, possibly tanked up to her eyeballs. we dont need people like that
