Why do Sony sell so many "different" ps3's. From what I have read they are all the same console (bar the original which you cant get any more) so why not just sell it without a HDD and let you choose yourself?
Besides, what is the big deal? You can always change the HDD yourself, nothing else on the console changed, the price didn't change, no secret extra powerful tech was added.
But then you end up with an extra HDD, Im looking to buy one soon and up a ~250gb HDD in which means I will have a useless disc which I have to pay for doing nothing.
