Every damn charger I've ever had. This is barely 5 months old as well.

Just why

No idea. GFs is like this too but not as bad and still works.

Maybe you should be a bit more careful with them then?

Wake up, remove, put in bag, plug in at work, remove, go home, plug in, sleep. Repeat.

Cheap ****e from Apple.

I'm going to guess it's when it's plugged in and I use it then put it face down, then use it again and put it face up, etc etc, just twists the cable.

Yea If my phone is plugged into work at my desk I'll use it then put it down, I think it's using it and putting the phone face down, then face up, then face down, etc.. Slowly just making the cable twist.

Not winding them up in a coil or wrapping the cable round the plug when you chuck them in your bag or whatever are you?

Nah, just putting it into the bag. I honestly think it's using the phone whilst plugged in at work. Face up, face down, face up so on and so forth and twisting the whole cable.

Would be interested to see how the cables you bought off of the bay are coping.

Brilliant so far mate, they are flat so they don't twist. Keep in mind that I have one at work, one at home so there is no 'travel damage'. It comes up with the 'this charger is no compatible with this device'. Still charges though, silly Apple.

£2 each I think they were. Apple charge what, £25?
