Vesperia's on PS3 as well but alas it's a Japan Import :( I heartily agree with the other recommendations here, especially Ni no Kuni and Valkyria Chronicles. Tales of Graces f is also worth picking up, and as Zhokel says, we're getting Xillia at some point this year (I believe it's around June/July if Zavvi is to be believed). Some others I'd recommend are Eternal Sonata, Folklore, Nier, Disgaea 4 (and 3 if you've not played it), Star Ocean: Last Hope, the current-gen Atelier games, and while it's not really a JRPG, Catherine is worth playing too especially if you're a fan of other Atlus games (primarily the Shin Megami Tensei series as it's littered with references to them).

Edit: Resonance of Fate is very good but very different to your traditional JRPG - it often plays from a "2D" side view of landscapes, and the world map is travelled through by a cursor on hexagons that have to be unlocked with their corresponding colours from mob drops. The combat is probably closest to Valkyria Chronicles in the way you've got a certain amount of "moves" to make before your Action Points run out, and it's partially turn-based with some really awesome looking John Woo type gunfights. Have a look at it if you're interested, I took a chance on it and wasn't disappointed!

Haven't finished it yet, but White Knight Chronicles 2 is great fun. It has combat reminiscent of MMORPGs (and can be played online with 5 other players or so), and some of the quest structure works similarly. There's a lot to do, a character development system where you get X amount of points per level and can spend them in numerous skill trees at once (you can play a tank but dabble in Divine and Elemental Magic and such), and some really awesome gameplay when you get your Knight (it feels like Mecha anime in a Medieval setting and is REALLY cool). It's also worth noting that if you buy WKII, it includes a remaster of the original game and the ability to import your characters into the 2nd game.

Both the EU and US PSN just have War of the Lions AFAIK. Got my hopes up when I saw FFT - PSone listed on the US Store :(

Well there is, just not a legal one :p I recently picked up a PSP for about £30 on eBay to play some games that don't work on the Vita (primarily Kingdom Hearts: Birth by Sleep), so that's an option if you want to play it really badly! Though it's not quite the same playing it on such a small screen sadly :/ Would be nice to seem them add the PSone game to the PS Store so it can be played on the PS3. I know it won't be War of the Lions but it's better than no FFT :p
