My neighbour has bought - or been given by somebody - a DWL-510, by D Link.
I don't have a network system at home and know nothing about it, he's having problems. He is using w98se and his son is using XP. Can they link up their systems with this and use broadband ? This is what they are trying to do, but for some reason it is saying it is installed but it doesn't work.
Yes, I know there isn't much info. I haven't been round, because I would end up messing around with something I know nothing about.
Can anyone point me in the right direction for him here. Is it worth the bother ? Can you use 2 different op systems ? Is w98se pointless bothering with anyway ? Will he need an updated driver of some sort maybe ?
