As title, wich one is better for gaming, @ 1280x1024, person doesn't mind running game on lowest settings, will prolly be coupled with an a64 3600+ x2 or a single core 3000+

Yes as if the other is not many new games wont even install or run on it, they need S.M 3.0

I misread it as a 6800 lol, still some new games need S.M 3.0 as I said.

Both are slow to play new games well, the former will at least run them, the later wont even run them.
