hello.

new ECU would be better with a wideband lambda on there, makes things easier.. i know naff all about wideband controllers though.

Innovate do one that can be had off the bay around £100, or £145 with sensor - anyone know if they're any good, or are there any others worth looking at; like this one maybe? http://www.megamanual.com/PWC

LC-1 is one of the best featured / priced WBO2 controllers, buy it with the sensor don't just buy the controller.

Only downside is you get no AFR display output unless you connect it to a laptop buy the XD-16 or mod an aftermarket AFR gauge.

I've got the LC-1 hooked up to the XD-16, total cost was about £310, but it looks smart and works well.

i use an lc1 but an xd16 is just a rip off,
i use a panal voltmeter this is set so that 1v represents 10v on the display (adjusted using a dip switch) and 2v shows 20 on the display, you then program the analogue output for the display on the lc1 so that 1v=10:1afr and 2v=20:1 afr. its plenty accurate for a visual guide and does not cost you £200 like an xd-16.
the voltmeter can be obtained from ebay for as little as £10

the PWC is not released yet and looks like it wont be anytime soon. if you dont have your ecu yet and are looking at an all in one setup then you cant go wrong with VEMS, this is the managment i will probably use next.

I was going to do this but i was after a 52mm pod mount gauge and not a square screen, other option was to buy another LCD gauge but i decided what the heck, wasn't mega bothered about cost, within reason, since i wanted something that looked good, its expensive but its not £400 pro lcd gauge expensive :)

thanks for the replies guys.

i have the ECU already (megasquirt v3 pcb running ms:extra firmware), i'm not too fussed about a read out from as it's going to be wired too the ECU and i'll have readouts from that via my laptop. Just wanted to get an idea what the LC1 was like - looks like i shall be buying one of them then! cheers
