Wider field 19" LCD

Could someone please advise.
I bought a 19" LG LCD from RS. The thing is you have to watch it square on. You cannot watch it from any wide angle as the picture is pale and horrid. I am getting it in the neck from the missus who I bought it for.
I would appreciate any recommendations for another 19/20 inch TV that would have a wider view field - I know they exist as my sons 22" Samsung is a lot better.
Please help a battered husband.
PS. Will they take it back after 3 months and swap it with more money

Don't know if its much use but I've bought a LG M227WD from RS this weekend. It's 22" and it works very good as a tv and computer monitor, the picture is very good and viewing angle is very good too. Only bad point I can see is the poor inbuilt speakers but I put the sound through my hi-fi anyway. It was £199 and I paid an extra £20 for a 5 year warranty.
