Hello all,

my friend - Sirrel Squirrel has Dell 24" widescreen, it's awesome.

I currently run 2 x 17" IIyamas (non widescreen)

Next week I'm going to order a MacPro, I'm half tempted to stick an Apple 23" panel on with the order and run all 3 monitors.

Now the 23" Apple is £599 inc VAT.

the Dell 24" is £519 inc VAT

Problem is - I CANNOT stand the Dell badge - stupid I know, but the logo frankly annoy the hell out of me, so I would prefer not to have one.

I'm not really up to date on monitors...I want it to look stylish, with a decent looking stand.

Apple one looks great in my opinion, but how does it compare with other monitors, performance wise?

What do others suggest? 23 - 24" is as big as I can go really.

We have 30" Apple monitors in work and they just look awesome, so the 23" will look just as good, as for the performance though I believe the Dell is quite a bit better (this applies to the 23" model not the 30" model)
