Im thinking of going widescreen (do a lot of PVR on the PC, so would be beneficial for more than just gaming), but was wondering something probably very simple.
Say in an FPS (COD2 mainly) for example, my aspect ratio will be changing from 3:4 to 16:10, will the display crop the top and bottom of the rendered frame, or display more viewable frame left and right? Or simply put, will I have a cropped view or an expanded view? If its cropped, ill be at a disadvantage in multiplayer gaming
