Hi,
Currently I have 2 monitors side by side, dell u2715h, resolution 2,560 * 1,440. I have my desktop and games set to 5,120 * 1,440, run off a single nvidia 980TI
Im considering replacing with a single monitor with same resolution to remove the break between monitors right in the middle of the screen.
Although i liked the idea of curved monitors, im concerned given the size of something equitable to what i have now that the curve on the edge is going to take too much space off my desk, and that i might be better off with a flatscreen 5,120 * 1,440
So, does anyone know of a flatscreen that would be suitable? After same sort of resolution, to be used for some call of duty FPS games, mostly Total War warhammer strategy and general home pc use. Is a single monitor annoying to use when opening multiple windows (my current setup has internet defaults to fill right hand screen, email does left)?
Or, is there any special reason why a curved monitor should be best? Its desk based so im fairly close to my screens, im not bothered about full immersion, just losing space around the curved edges
