Looking for suggestions on how I "mount" a 22" widescreen TFT on my desk in portrait mode.

I have this working using the simple rotate option of CCC and for viewing .cbr, PDFs and in fact general browsing I really like this format.

The issue I have is of course my monitor stand is not designed to handle this and it means me having to prop up a fairly fragile bit of kit , so any suggestions ?

Oh and try it reading text feels so much more natural in portrait over landscape.

You can purchase desk arm mounts, theese bolt to the desk and attach by a plate to the back of the monitor, (vesa standard 75 or 100mm) theese type of mounts will give you the ability to swivel, tilt and rotate the screen as required.

excellant that is what i needed for my ebay searching.

eek at how much some of them are and my desk is wall mounted so I do not have anywhere to clamp an arm to, but that does like the way to go thanks :)

bizarely I have this completely sorted as I did not realise that the monitor fittings are standardised and I actually had a 17" tft on my desk with a swivel stand and so I have simply replaced the stand and hey presto my 22" now rotates to full portrait mode.

have been wanting to find some decent desk mounts for my 3rd monitor, especially with eyeinfinity on the way. Want to have it held above my other two G2420hds. Thing is that is pretty high and my desk has a glass top so not sure how well it would work???
