Widescreen TFT to replace 21" crt

I currently have a Eizo f77s 21" CRT and again, looking at Widescreen TFTs to replace this beast.

What size TFT would i have to get to have a similar "sized" TFT to my current CRT?

I see loads of 22" TFTs but they will be a step down in size wont they??

horizontal will be wider ? but verticle a fair few inches shorter?

budget is 400 quid but really closer to 300 would be better.

For that sort of budget it looks like the Belinea 2225S1W 22" Widescreen LCD Monitor for £217.36 inc VAT

Personally contemplating one of these atm also.... at that price

Having done just that recently, I think you will be dissapointed with the TFT.
I bought a 20 35 10 and althouh there was nothing wrong with it, both movies games and text didnt match my sony.
I did like the widescreen and the brightness, but it wasnt an improvement...
