Normally a s-video cable, unless your tv dont have socket, but I bet it does, if not you can use scart to s-video adapter.

I would use SCART with RGB (usually AV1) Fully wired SCART cable, DVD player set to RGB out.

I think a google on "svideo to scart converter" is your first port of call and then see the apparent quality of the alternatives.

No, he wants a fully wired SCART to SCART cable (if his DVD player and TV have scart connections) A £15 cable will do.
