widescreen

im looking for a widescreen, that works for the 360 as well as pc, must be good enough for Dx 10 though, about 19inch is fine or what ever widescreen comes closest to it. ive looked but none seem to work on 360 and be wide screen.
the 360 supports resolutons of 640×480, 848×480, 1024×768, 1280×720, 1280×768, 1280×1024, and 1360×768 when using vga av cabel accorsing to clanforged. will a screen with a bigger resolution sa 16??X???? work and cut bits of the sides etc. or will it not work at all?

For DirectX 10 you will need, Windows Vista, compatible hardware and software/games that use it. So you will be waiting till next year.
As for the 360 if it can support those res's then it will be fine, I don't know if it will cut bit off or more likely give you black bars is the res is none standard, if it works. Don't see why it shouldn't.
