well my mates got a 8200 and a bfg oc 8800gt and hes been having problems with slight pauses when playing cod 4.so he ran 3d mark 06 yesterday and i said he should be getting 10000 at least and he came back with a score of 4000 
.so looked closer see if anything was a miss and in the 3dmark listing of his components it says his cpu speed is 1064mhz

but if you look in his system data in control panel it says 8200at 2.66ghz then 1064 behind it anyone got any idea why ? its driving him crazy.hes brought everything new and only few weeks old.if his cpu is running at 1064 what would cause this.any help would be greatful.
he has asrock mobo (dont know if this is prob)
