Wierd dreams

dont remember most of mine but i do know they seem like feature film lenths and that they do me a lot of good.
what i mean is i go to bed with my problems and wake up knowing ive dreamt but with the fragments evaporating and feeling like ive resolved something a little
if anyone would like to experiance a feature film length dream get some 5 htp tablets (tried them a decade or so ago but didnt like the effects myself)

I remember most of my dreams.

I did dream last night that my teeth were all messed up and I have been meaning to go to the Dentist...

Dream every night, some mornings I wake up exhausted from it. About twice a year I will suffer a full on night terror where I am screaming in my sleep but I cannot wake up and my wife has to shake me out of it.

There is nothing in my waking life that has ever induced anything close to the soul shredding horror and dread that a night terror can induce.

I've been having a recurring lucid dream lately where I hear a high pitched screech (almost like Tinnitus) that gets increasingly loud and I'm paralysed like I'm being pinned down by an invisible force, unable to speak. Eventually I always manage to let out a loud groan/scream and I awake in the same position I was during the dream.

I hate it.

I feel you man, I have experienced multi level false awakenings where things like that happen and you wake up but you are still not awake. Then you wake again think you are ok but still not back in the real world. Finally you wake up full of adrenalin, heart pounding.

I love dreams in general, even nightmares and false awakenings.

Had a nightmare a few nights ago which had a girl in it like Alma from FEAR, can't remember the details but it was pretty bad, and I remember waking up and saying aloud "that was awesome" :p

I even try and provoke dreams by listening to a powerful piece of music just before getting in bed, then laying in silence until I fall asleep. Which seems to work sometimes.

I rarely remember them, at the time they seem vivid but within an hour of waking up I remember nothing, other than I know I had a weird dream. :-)

I sometimes lucid dream. These dreams are amazing because I'm aware in the dream that I am dreaming and I control everything that happens. And yes they are dirty!

I lost control of my last dirty dream when the harem maidens leapt on me.

Never had a dirty lucid dream. :p

My only ever lucid dream (that I remember) was just me walking around my house, but a few things were sufficiently different/incorrect enough for me to know it wasn't real.

I remember wanting to wake up, and stabbing myself with a kitchen knife (still in the dream I hasten to add!) to wake myself up!

It worked. But it was a very strange thing to do... :p

You're missing out! I confess that most of my lucid dreams wake me up shortly after I realise that in the dream I am dreaming. I get too excited and wake myself up :(

I once dreamed that I got hit by a train. I woke up with a jump and literally almost threw the duvet off! I was lucid dreaming at the time but for some reason I dreamt that the train hit me. Suicidal dream, weird.
