wierd dvd issue

Power DVD 7 stops every 7-8 mins for 30 seconds then plays as normal for hours. This happens no matter what drive I watch a movie from, be it mounted or an actual dvd. differing partitions on different hard drives.

im on vista and its done this for months. reinstalled even after formats. any ideas as to what it could be would be great. im so far thinking some sort vista issue with caching or ram usage.

right there all using ultra dma 5 and some using ultra dma 2. its always 7 mins and it's driving me insane lol

lol its wierd though, it freezes bang on 7 mins and then after 1 min keeps playing and as long as I dont close it could play 4 dvds in a row

Just tried it, nope so looks as though its a specific issue with powerdvd damn. going to email there "support"
