wierd dvd keeps ejecting

well i just cant work this one out....out of the blue dvd player (plextor px-740a) keeps ejecting any disc i put in it..will shut fine with no disc but wont stay shut with a disc in...any ideas?

yea its a mechanical issue and needs replaced?

booted to bios....got it working that way..seems ok now in windows..very strange because i did a full reboot before and it was still doing it....can this b related to a faulty burn?..i had a badly burned dvd in before that and straight after it wouldn't accept any dvd at all...

Hi not sure if that was your prob but I have had strange things happen with a bad write, unable to eject also the same as you refuses any disk after just opens the tray, not had this happen yet in Vista only XP.
