Wierd feeling with new monitor

My VX922 came this morning and i have to say its beautiful however having been using crts all my life .......its a bit wierd. anyone else get that

Yeah when u first switch you will notice the clarity a lot

I have a VX922 which I use on my games machine... I'd always used CRT for games but decided to change.. The first night I used it for games I couldn't get used to it and actually went back to the CRT.. later on that night I decided to try it again and played with it a bit.. now I wouldn't go back the colours are great games look great especially WOW which I play a bit...

Must admit though I don't think I could play a game on it without AA etc turned up max as things do look too sharp without it.. so provided that your machine will play games at 1280x1024 with good AA then you'll never look back.

For general work/www they're great anyway.

right click desktop > properties > appearance > effects > 2nd box - cleartype.

that makes the world of difference in 2d in my opinion, nice anti-aliased text.

wow! That's really made the text look much better on my SM913N. Thanks for that lil tip!
