Wierd graphics issue - Sims 3

Im having a wierd problem with just The Sims 3 which can only be described with this picture:

It started happening a few days ago with no changes to my system whatsoever. My card or any part of my system isn't overheating and both game and drivers are upto the latest version, I've also had a play around with other versions just to make sure.

Atitools doesn't throw up any errors and I can play other games for hours with no problems.

Anyone know whats causing this?

I've had the same problem with my ATI card. I've switched to Nvidia. I remember something about the drivers that fixed it though. Haven't had an ATI card since my 9800pro.

The Sims doesn't like ATI cards iirc.

Eventually got it working on some older drivers. But I find it wierd how it worked for a while then just suddenly stopped working :confused:
