wierd msn issue

MSN messenger installed, the latest one.

It refuses to sign in now unless i insert my delta force black hawk down installation cd. If i dont insert it, it comes up with an error asking me to cancel, retry or continue. If i cancel or continue it closes msn down! the only way possible to run msn on my laptop appears to be with the disc in the dvd drive.

I DO NOT UNDERSTAND THIS !?

Uninstall it and reinstall it.

thats one of the screwiest errors I've ever seen.
I'd go with the above posters suggestion.

Thats impressive. Uninstall both, run CCleaner, reinstall both would be my bet.
Send the details to MS, its impressive odd they might actually look at it.

Hmm, also watch out for you car it might refuse to start unless you've pressed down your toaster tomorrow morning.

That is brilliant. I'd love to get to the bottom of that. Did it have to be that CD or any CD?
