Wife a workaholic/addition problem?

This is my wife in a nut shell. I earn more than her and work about a half of the time she does but she does earn very well so I just put up with it. Sadly her ‘career’ is probably above me in terms of priority. And just like the Op - I do practically everything during the week including all child care.
If I even for one moment tried to suggest she was working too hard I would likely be shouted out of the room and ignored for a month. Ain’t marriage great. Girl power and all that.
Will all come back to bite these ladies on the backside when they hit their 50’s and her husband has finally had enough and they are left on their own, bitter and angry with their cats. Still, at least she will have her career and can show those pesky ‘men’ that they don’t need no man whilst crying into a box of corner shop Chardonnay at 11pm pm on a Tuesday.
