Wifes laptop no longer playing videos on websites

As title

it used to work yesterday.

I have uninstalled and reinstalled flash player, updated java. I just cant seem to get it to work.

I have tired on yahoo and you tube, none work.

Any one able to help.

Acer laptop about 8 months old Vista 32 etc.

if it's trashed either install Firefox on it (best option)

or create a new windows user account and use that

Done all that and the reg reset it says about and still does not work. Looks like I will have to see about reinstalling Vista on the laptop.

And acer dont do disks any more.

Now this is strange, its now not her laptop only.

I cant watch videos on my PC.

is it youtube style videos you can't watch anymore or every kind of video you try?
