got a cheapo edimax wireless usb dongle here (shows up as RT73 USB Wireless LAN card in device manager, made by ralink), it was used fine on the desktop pc for about 6 months or so, but recently it seems to randomly disconnect and not pick up the wifi signal untill i unplug it and re insert it (as in the network isnt listed, and doing a windows troubleshooter doesnt solve the problem - it has to be physically un/replugged).
Theres plenty of time in between the disconnects (about 12 hours or so), but its really annoying when i leave it overnight downloading something to find it disconnected halfway though.
router is a belkin F5D8635-4v1, motherboard is a foxconn a7da-s 3.0 (dont think its the usb port, but you never know...). signal is always strong when connected (4-5 bars)
