Wifi/Bluetooth Card for Steam Machine

I'm currently in the process of buying parts for a Steam Machine but need a Wifi/Bluetooth adapter that will work out of the box. I plan on installing SteamOS only. I notice the Alienware Alpha has an Intel Dual Band Wireless-AC 3160 card. Not sure if this would be ok for my needs?

if ping could be of an issue, i would strongly suggest powerline adapters

I have power line adapters and also ethernet cable but can't have cable running through the middle of my room so it has to be Wifi. My motherboard doesn't have wifi so I will need to install a card or adapter. I also need bluetooth to connect my PS4 controller as the cable won't reach to where I sit playing games.
