Wifi Booster?

Hi All

Is there a product that will give better WIFI even if you don't have internet? but have a signal in your home via people that live close to your building.

I'm not 100% sure if my friend has a SSID code or not from a neighbour so something that works either way will do.

Usually referred to as a Wireless extender. See here. You will need the security credentials of the wireless connection to set it up.
