Wifi bridge?

Hello OCUK,
I've just bought a 2nd hand Sony TV, which offers smart features, via ethernet or their ridiculously expensive UWABR100 dongle. I'm not paying £60+ for the dongle! And unfortunately, the TV is in a different room from the router!

Can I use a wifi bridge (that I perhaps dreamt exists)? Something that uses existing wifi but allows connection via ethernet?

If so, what's the cheapest item you can find for me?
I'll owe you a favour. Thanks all.

What about home Plugs? Or you can get a Sky on demand connector (make sure it's an older one with Ethernet as the newer ones only use USB) from the bay of E. If your router uses WPS then you can connect it without issue.

Home plugs would be a much better solution than trying to use 2 routers to make a bridge. Wifi bridges work great with kit designed for PTP links with a clear LOS, not so great at getting good rates over when using consumer kit with multiple obstructions.

Homeplugs would be the 2nd best alternative to biting the bullet and running a cable.
